Estate Planning

Estate planning is the process of planning the accumulation, conservation and distribution of an estate in the manner that most efficiently and effectively accomplishes your personal tax and nontax objectives. Some say that all estates are planned in some way: some by the government, some by the individual. In our experience, most individuals prefer to keep control themselves rather than ceding it to governmental entities.

As an active member and former Director of the Estate Planning Council of Westchester County, Gayle Lob is an expert in the multi-faceted process of family planning, inter-generational wealth transfer, and asset protection. She and her staff will coordinate with your other service professionals to insure the efficient transfer of your assets to your heirs.

Because many of our clients are second and third generation, we are experienced in coordinating the needs of parents and children, grandparents, and grandchildren.
Charitable Giving
Many individuals with substantial assets or property struggle with tax issues. Through special opportunities of tax-exempt planning that Congress has created, Gayle Lob Financial Strategies can help you create a long-term strategy to impact your community through charitable gifts, while retaining assets for distribution to your family. Our specialties include:
  • Helping individuals and families increase their income and move assets to their children while converting their tax dollars into charitable dollars for any variety of charitable purposes.
  • Serving charities and foundations by enabling them to acquire large gifts that provide these charities with secure long-term funding sources.
  • Do you have an up-to-date will?
  • Have you designated beneficiaries?
  • Have you designated guardians for your minor or special needs children?
  • Have you created Health Care Directives?
  • Have you constructed a plan to reduce death and inheritance taxes?
  • Do you have a plan to minimize or eliminate the expense and lengthy legal process of probate?
