About Us

“Our clients are like family.” That’s more than just a tag line on a website or a brochure; that’s been the defining theme of Gayle Lob Financial Strategies since its start in 1987. It’s about looking out for our clients, speaking frankly to them, cheering them on when things go well, backing them up when things get tough and, above all, helping them meet their goals. It’s a smart approach to business too: the majority of Gayle Lob Financial Strategies’ clients have been referred to us by other clients and professionals and we have the honor and pleasure of working with many second and third generations.

There’s a good reason for this. Our clients know that we take their futures very seriously and strive to insure that they meet their goals and objectives.

We’re fortunate to have a great partner helping us to assist our clients. LPL Financial, the Nation’s largest independent broker/dealer, provides us with the administrative, research and technological backbone to monitor an increasingly complex investment universe. As LPL does not develop or market financial products of its own, they help us identify the best, highest rated and most suitable investment vehicles for our clients. This ensures that we remain client-focused, objective and unbiased.

Gayle S. Lob, CFP®CFDP®
Helping people manage the transitions in their lives has been Gayle Lob’s calling since launching Gayle Lob Financial Strategies in 1987. It’s a role she’s abundantly qualified to fill, having dealt personally with divorce and remarriage, the raising and education of children and step-children, career change and caring for elderly parents. This broad range of life experience gives Gayle a unique perspective and considerable empathy when helping clients plan for and adapt to change.

A former schoolteacher who has taught mathematics and foreign language in both Westchester County and Paris, France, Gayle explains concepts and strategies patiently and clearly.
“We have many clients who have been with us for 20 years or more because our clients become friends and feel like family,” Gayle says. “I know why I go to work every morning – to laugh with them, to cry with them, to experience their joy and feel their pain. And to know that we are helping them retire to sunny climates, purchase their beautiful new home, and attend the graduations of their children and grandchildren.”

Gayle is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ Professional and a Certified Financial Divorce Practitioner™. Through LPL Financial, she is a Series 7 and Series 63 registered investment consultant, a Series 24 Registered Principal and is licensed for life, health and long term care insurance in multiple states.
